- ➤ A wall collapsed Monday morning at the historic Broad Street Market building where repairs have been underway since a 2023 fire (no one was hurt) and Mayor Wanda Williams will meet with advisors to assess the building's safety. Local 21 News
- ➤ A wall of the Broad Street Market's brick building collapsed Monday morning while under construction after a July 2023 fire, leaving a pile of bricks near the Millworks (no injuries were reported) as Mayor Wanda Williams and officials met to assess the unstable structure. TheBurg

- ➤ Lottery officials said two $50,000 winning tickets from the New Year's Millionaire Raffle were sold at Rutter's in Loganville and GIANT in South Hanover Township, part of eight weekly drawings leading up to a drawing on Jan. 3, and winners must claim prizes at a Pennsylvania Lottery office. The Strawberry Square Music Series Holiday Variety Show is a free event featuring an all-local lineup of music, theatre, comedy, dance, and magic, plus festive vendors and holiday gift wrapping. Happening Friday, Dec. 19 from 6–9 PM at the UPMC Stage in Strawberry Square, the event also includes a community coat drive supporting Coats in the Cart.
