Developers delayed revealing the PAX-1 data center tenant and pushed township approval deadlines to Feb.
2027 for the 16 building project in Middlesex Township while they weigh Phase Three revisions and GRID compliance (1.3 gigawatts projected). A hearing on Stop PAX-1's petition to halt construction is set for Nov. 13 in Cumberland County court.
General Motors reached a $220 million multistate settlement that will pay Pennsylvania $8.67 million after states said GM sold drivers' location and behavior data from its Smart Driver program (from 2016 to 2024) to data brokers and insurers; the deal requires express consent, limits data collection, and adds oversight and privacy protections.
