- ➤ Mount Olivet Cemetery on Old York Road in Fairview Township placed flags on all 530 veterans' graves to honor them, and the cemetery is asking volunteers to sponsor a $17 live balsam wreath for each grave on Dec. 13. This effort will help ensure every veteran is remembered during the holiday season. WGAL

- ➤ Last week, The Hershey Company announced its new holiday candy lineup featuring festive red, green, and silver Hershey's Kisses and a KIT KAT Peppermint Stick. The treats will appear in stores this season — offering fans new flavors for the holidays. FOX43

- ➤ The 19th Street bridge spanning I-83 in Harrisburg will be demolished starting 11 p.m. Saturday with lane restrictions beginning at 7 p.m. Cleanup will finish by 8 a.m. Sunday—drivers should follow detour routes to avoid delays. WGAL
- ➤ Harrisburg residents reported that dozens of streetlights are not working on 2nd, 3rd and Market Streets, raising public safety concerns downtown. - ➤ Midtown Harrisburg residents experienced brown and tan water after a Monday water main break on William Street and recent valve maintenance stirred up minerals; Capital Region Water has issued a boil-water advisory and is flushing the system.
