ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A gas leak in Hanover started around 7:40 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Frederick Street—roads closed and over 3,000 customers lost power—York County officials reported. WGAL
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Halifax Wildcat Marching Band won the U.S. Bands Group 1-A national championship in Allentown after coming close to a state title last week. They returned home with a trophy, banner, and medals as fire trucks escorted their bus and truck—family, friends, and fans cheered their win. ABC27
- ➤ At Dickinson College in Carlisle, Native American leaders, college officials, and tribal guests blessed the ground for the new Jim Thorpe Center for the Futures of Native Peoples on Saturday—honoring a site once marked by a painful past.
