- ➤ A fire broke out on Wednesday morning at a rented duplex on Bosler Avenue in Lemoyne where a mother and her young son had just moved in — firefighters battled the blaze after the incident was reported at 7:20 a.m., and no injuries have been reported. PennLive

- ➤ UGI Utilities warned its customers today about scammers using fake online ads that charge fees for free gas leak investigations — the company urged consumers to use only the official phone number 800-276-2722 and website ugi.com to avoid falling victim to the scam. PennLive

- ➤ Penn State Harrisburg students wrote letters to local and state representatives on Wednesday during Federal Accountability Day of Action to ask lawmakers to reduce rising costs of groceries and housing—student organizers said the effort spotlights the financial strain on college students.
