With clocks falling back on November 2, Pennsylvania roads will be darker as deer become more active for mating season—drivers are urged to slow down to avoid collisions.

Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound I-83 to southbound I-283 in Swatara Twp. will be closed for deck patching from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov.

On August 19th, Tom Golisano announced that Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Derry Township received a $50 million donation as part of the new Golisano Children’s Alliance, a group of 10 children’s hospitals aiming to build a national network.
He said he hopes more hospitals will join the alliance soon.

District 3 high school football playoffs will begin Friday night with 12 postseason matchups—one featuring Cedar Crest visiting Cedar Cliff in the FOX43 High School Football Frenzy Game of the Week in the Class 6A opener.
Friday's winners will move on to face top teams, with local contenders like Harrisburg set to enter the quarterfinal round.
