The Kiwanis Club of Greater West Shore celebrated its 75th anniversary this year by honoring its long history of community service while supporting local groups+ including high school Key Clubs that logged over 15,000 service hours last year.
The club, which currently has 18 members, is recruiting fresh faces to help sustain its work with youth and the broader community.
Mid Penn Bank in Susquehanna Township will buy a Florida firm called Cumberland Advisors — the deal will close in the fourth quarter and the firm's leaders and workers will join the bank.
The bank did not share the deal's terms.
A new business park is planned in Fairview Township near Lewisberry that will include four buildings: a 10,000-square-foot structure, an 18,000-square-foot facility, and two 100,000-square-foot buildings that can join for 200,000 square feet.
Lower Paxton Township-based Triple Crown Corporation is leading the project off I-83 at Exit 35 — the larger buildings will likely be built first while the smaller ones might follow next year if deals close — to serve light industrial, commercial, or wholesale tenants.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled on September 29th that counties must tell voters when their mail ballots are rejected for errors such as missing signatures or wrong dates.

A Pennsylvania National Guard flag from about 1920 returned to Fort Indiantown Gap on Monday and was put on display at the National Guard Museum.
The flag, found in an old collection, once flew over Mount Gretna and was honored in a special ceremony—highlighting its role in local history.
