- ➤ Millersburg Area High School's boys soccer team played Greenwood on Wednesday in a fundraiser game for cancer awareness to raise funds for the family of Reverend Kenneth Campbell, who died from pancreatic cancer in August. - ➤ On Saturday, a rally was held at the Northern York County Regional Police Station to support the families and co-workers of officers following Wednesday’s ambush that left three officers dead and two injured—police and firefighters gathered to show solidarity as organized by the Hogs and Heroes Foundation and the Blue Star Family Law Enforcement Support Association. - ➤ The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections announced that SCI Rockview in Centre County and Quehanna Boot Camp in Clearfield County will close over the next four months due to a declining inmate population and resource realignment—state officials expect the move to save up to $100 million. Affected staff are guaranteed offers at nearby prisons and specialized programs will be relocated to continue operations—inmates will be transferred based on their individual needs. Local 21 News
