- ➤ A 49-year-old driver was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle and careless driving after his Honda Accord collided head-on with a motorcyclist at an intersection in Franklin County on August 16—leaving the 25-year-old rider seriously injured and airlifted to Penn State Hershey Medical Center. - ➤ Food prices have risen steadily across Pennsylvania this year as inflation driven by tariffs raised costs for local grocers—shoppers now pay extra for essentials like bananas, chicken, and eggs. Experts say rising wholesale prices will keep costs high in the coming months. FOX43
