- ➤ On August 13th, 2025, 30-year-old Leroy Gonzalez, convicted of first-degree murder for the 2016 killing of Ty'Jerell Curry, verbally lashed out at prosecutors and defied Judge Edward Marsico’s removal order at Dauphin County Courthouse—he was convicted alongside 31-year-old Khalid Carter. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Residents across Pennsylvania spotted a swirling light in the sky on Tuesday night after United Launch Alliance launched its Vulcan rocket from Florida— the flight boosted two military satellites as part of the first Space Force-sanctioned mission for the new launcher. Local 21 News
- ➤ Veolia said that both permitted and unpermitted hydrant usage, along with a June 22 water treatment disruption and eight water main breaks in six weeks, has led to ongoing water discoloration affecting residents in Susquehanna Township, Lower Paxton Township, Swatara Township — and Marysville Borough. The company will hold public forums in September to explain the issue and will issue credits for extra water usage while it works to resolve the problem. Local 21 News
