CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Dauphin County jury is weighing whether 22-year-old Keith Moore killed 57-year-old Michael Cox nearly five years ago in a parking lot—prosecutors said Cox was shot in the back without firing while Moore's defense argued he acted in self-defense. PennLive
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Department of Justice sent its second letter on Aug 3 asking the Department of State for voter records from November 2022 through now, including lists of election officials, duplicate voter registrations and noncitizen histories, and warned that legal action may follow if the records are not provided by Aug 22+ the letter also asks why duplicate registrations account for only 4.49% of voters, nearly three times lower than the national average. The state has not yet said how it will handle the request. PennLive
