- ➤ Officer Mark Sanguinito answered a complaint about a child's lemonade stand and took a selfie with the young owner while serving a cup of lemonade. The social media post earned over 8,000 reactions (with many praising his quick community outreach) and showed local residents applauding his support. Local 21 News

- ➤ Veolia Water Pennsylvania responded to a water main break along Derry Street between 47th and 48th in Swatara Township on Monday morning—officials said crews worked at the scene while drivers were advised to be cautious and no boil water advisory was issued. ABC27
- ➤ On July 28, the state game commissioners met to consider a proposal that would allow Sunday hunting for most species from Sept. 14 through Dec. 7, excluding waterfowl + migratory birds. Gov. Shapiro repealed the long-standing ban on Sunday hunting on July 9, which let the agency move quickly by using an executive order. WITF
