ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • At 9:00 p.m. Saturday night, a two-vehicle crash on South Progress Avenue and Sandra Avenue in Susquehanna Township injured one person who was taken to a hospital according to a Dauphin County dispatcher (roads may be closed) while police remained on the scene.  WGAL
  • On July 4, rescue crews pulled nine people, including three children, from dangerous waters near the Hershey dam in South Hanover Township—reuniting them on shore by 5:30 p.m.  PennLive

CRIME NEWS

  • Police responded near Strawberry Street on Saturday around 11:15 a.m.—dispatchers reported a stabbing victim in a car crash who was losing consciousness as blood was seen on the Nissan Rogue and the victim was loaded into an ambulance.  PennLive

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Judge Michael J Smith, who served Dauphin County since July 29th, collapsed while riding his bike in Lebanon County and was pronounced dead Friday at Penn State Hershey Medical Center—he was not involved in a crash.  PennLive
