- ➤ Senator Doug Mastriano urged Met-Ed to grant Adams County customers a one-month electric bill credit after outages caused by a transformer failure and substation fire earlier this week—he added that residents also should be reimbursed for lost food and other costs. Local 21 News
- ➤ Pennsylvania’s Treasury has mailed nearly 40,000 checks totaling $9.2 million to people through the Money Match program—Treasurer Stacy Garrity urged recipients to cash them for everyday expenses. The Treasury will send the next batch in August and expects to return $30 million this year. CBS News Philadelphia
- ➤ Spotlight PA hosted community forums and gathered about 75 questionnaire responses to shape how nearly $2 billion from opioid settlements should be spent.
