- ➤ Cody Balmer, accused of setting a fire at Gov. Shapiro’s official residence and charged with attempted homicide and arson, is seeking a delay for his next court appearance because he is receiving mental health treatment—according to his lawyer. Local 21 News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Starting June 5, a new law called Paul Miller's Law will ban handheld cellphone use while driving in Pennsylvania and requires drivers to use mounted devices or pull over for calls. The law allows phone use in emergencies — drivers will receive a written warning in its first year before fines, court costs, or other fees are imposed. CBS News Philadelphia
