- ➤ In 2024, top Pennsylvania lawmakers accepted roughly $119,000 in gifts and travel from lobbyists and special interest groups. House Majority Leader Matt Bradford took a $14,700 weeklong trip to Israel while state Sen. Camera Bartolotta and Rep. Tim O’Neal traveled to Taiwan with a combined cost of $21,000 — all reported on their ethics forms. Spotlight PA
- ➤ Senator Dave McCormick joined forces with colleagues from Arizona and Connecticut to introduce three bipartisan bills that aim to increase affordable housing for veterans, support nuclear energy financing, and target Mexican drug cartels—efforts that address rising housing costs and security challenges in the state. - ➤ Data shows that 981 state employees earned over $200,000 in 2024, a 19% rise from last year and more than a 500% increase since 2020.
