- ➤ Deu Kumar Chhetri was convicted of rape after repeatedly stalking a victim and demanding she become his second wife (convicted on May 9) and he now awaits sentencing in Dauphin County Prison. Local 21 News
- ➤ Highspire police have been searching for 17-year-old Zion Ogeltree, who was last seen at school on May 2 and has not returned home — he may be in Steelton or Middletown. PennLive
- ➤ Dauphin County police are searching for 13-year-old Larry Robles, who was last seen near Osteopathic Hospital in Lower Paxton Township at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday wearing black shorts, a black shirt and black/red shoes+ anyone with information should call Dauphin County Communications Center at 717-558-6900. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Penn State board recommended closing seven branch campuses — including DuBois, Fayette, Mont Alto, New Kensington, Shenango, and York — with closures set to begin after the 2026-27 spring semester. The proposal was released Tuesday and officials said students will have resources to finish their degrees while faculty will receive priority for new positions. CBS News Philadelphia

- ➤ Starting June 5, Pennsylvania will make it illegal to hold a phone while driving and police can pull over a driver caught using a handheld device — the law gives written warnings until fines start in June 2026. It allows emergency use and hands-free options. Local 21 News
