- ➤ Rite Aid filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on May 5 and now urges customers to return items and redeem gift cards, coupons and rewards before deadlines. Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said stores will stop accepting returns on June 4 and gift cards, points and bonus cash will lose value after June 6. WGAL

- ➤ Camp Hill police reported that 17-year-old Keith Barnes went missing on May 12 when he was last seen wearing his Camp Hill High School tracksuit in Cumberland County; they are asking anyone with information to come forward. PennLive
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ East Manchester Township resident Suzanna Eisenhour said her front lawn has been damaged by tractor-trailers making illegal right turns at the York and Musser intersection—she asked police to enforce posted signs as trucks continue to damage her property. PennDOT said it will add two extra signs at the intersection and nearby while Eisenhour vows to keep fighting at today's township meeting. WGAL
- ➤ Chester County native Spc. Robert Ruiz-Rhoades won the Soldier of the Year award at the Region II Best Warrior competition at Fort Indiantown Gap on May 9 — he will now compete in the National Best Warrior Competition in Maryland from July 11-20. WGAL
