  • Nearly 100 years after his Civil War service, Jackson Martin will receive a proper headstone (a long-overdue honor) during a Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m. May 23 at Filey Cemetery in Dillsburg, with local storytelling and music for public attendance.  PennLive

  • Honey Bear Orchards in North Annville Township closed for the 2026 season after a killing April freeze destroyed its fruit crop — including peaches, apples, and more, marking its first shutdown in 40 years.   • State lawmakers introduced Senate Bill 1315 on Wednesday at the Capitol to require insurance companies to cover fertility preservation procedures for cancer patients during treatment; the measure aims to reduce high out-of-pocket costs.  FOX43
