- ➤ City council said that rebuilding the Broad Street Market will cost $23.7 million after a fire-damaged wall increased stabilization costs to $2.5 million (construction expenses and existing issues pushed the budget higher). The council will vote to reallocate insurance and federal funds, and work will finish by May next year. WGAL
- ➤ Janelle Stelson skipped multiple debate forums in the primary against Justin Douglas — she focuses on campaigning in neighborhoods to defeat Scott Perry, while Douglas, frustrated by her absence, will attend the candidates forum at Penn State Harrisburg today. PennLive
- ➤ The Pennsylvania House passed legislation Tuesday to extend the malt beverage tax credit carryforward to five years and allow breweries to trade their credits—sending the bill to the Senate for review.
