  • Bill Gantt was a pillar of his Allison Hill community—helping his neighbors with home projects and annual beautification efforts at a historic watering trough.   • Former television newscaster Janelle Stelson is strongly considering a challenge against US Rep. Scott Perry in 2026 in what would be the first midstate Congressional rematch since 2008. Perry—expected to seek an eighth term—narrowly defeated her in 2024, while local party leaders say her potential candidacy could shake up the competitive 10th District.  PennLive

HEALTH NEWS

  • The FDA said the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Company is recalling its dark chocolate covered macadamias in Pa. and 14 other states because they may contain undeclared almonds and cashews—posing a risk to people with allergies. Customers should return the product to the store for a refund.  PennLive
