- ➤ A Dauphin County 911 dispatcher failed to escalate Cody Balmer’s call after he admitted to firebombing the Governor’s Residence, a misstep that officials have now addressed internally—though they noted no further harm resulted. PennLive

- ➤ Firefighters are working to contain two wildfires in Michaux State Forest in Cumberland County—Thompson Hollow is 33% contained and Hammond Rocks is 41% contained while crews monitor the flames; no homes were lost and no one was hurt. WGAL
FINANCE NEWS
- ➤ Drivers in Pennsylvania with qualifying 2011—2016 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra trucks may be entitled to up to $12,700 from a General Motors settlement over a defective CP4 fuel pump. The settlement still awaits final court approval and if approved, eligible drivers must submit their claim by July 21. PennLive
