ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Three people were injured when a pickup truck and a sedan crashed at Colebrook and Route 230 in Middletown Friday evening — EMS treated them on scene before taking them to the hospital.  Local 21 News

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • As spring warms the state, residents should note that three venomous snakes—timber rattlesnake, eastern massasauga rattlesnake, and northern copperhead—will soon become active and are best admired from a safe distance.  PennLive

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A bipartisan bill was introduced in the State House earlier this week to allow legal adult use of cannabis, proposed by Rep. Emily Kinkhead of district 20 and Rep. Abby Major of district 60. The plan sets rules for sales, aims to create up to 30,000 jobs and boost funds for education, health, and roads — while changing drug rules that have hurt some neighborhoods — but it has not yet been formally submitted.  ABC27

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • A family-owned campground near Elizabethtown was sold for $5.23 million to Utah-based KCN Campgrounds Inc.—which plans to add long-term campsites, pickleball courts and other amenities. The deed was filed in February and guests can expect the same family-oriented atmosphere as before.  PennLive
