  • Thursday, Eden Village Harrisburg announced a $75,000 donation from the Greater Harrisburg Association of Realtors to build a 400 sqft tiny home on S. Front Street. The nonprofit plans 32 tiny homes and a community room with $300 rent while still raising funds + support for its $5.8M project.  TheBurg

  • Harrisburg University confirmed four interim deans — who led its academic schools since a 2025 restructuring — as permanent leaders in Harrisburg. They will lead the analytics, media, engineering, and health and science programs.  Harrisburg University of Science and Technology
  • Dr. Jeffery L. Osgood, Jr. was named president of Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania by PASSHE effective today — he has served as interim president since Aug. 1, 2025 and will focus on boosting campus morale and expanding in-person learning.  Central Penn Business Journal

  • City solicitor Neil Grover denied HMAC leadership's claim that officials conspired to force the venue's closure, calling the accusation delusional while noting that the city is pursuing legal avenues over unpaid taxes.  PennLive
  • PECO has withdrawn its rate hike request that would have raised electricity bills by $20 and natural gas bills by $14 following Gov. Shapiro's demand to ease customer cost pressures + community input. The move saves 1.7 million households an estimated $510 million.  CBS News Philadelphia
