ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A woman in her 60s died in a Perry County house fire Wednesday night after she helped her 89-year-old mother (who was later treated for burns) escape and then reentered the burning home possibly to rescue their dog, fire officials said. PennLive
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Pennsylvania State Police equipped over 3,000 troopers with body-worn cameras and upgraded video recorders in more than 1,400 patrol vehicles at 89 stations. The cameras—recording public interactions and calls for service—aim to boost transparency and accountability. CBS News Philadelphia
- ➤ Pennsylvania voters have the option to vote by mail in the May 20 primary and can request ballots online, in person, or by mail—applications must be in by 5 p.m. on May 13 and ballots received by 8 p.m. on Election Day. - ➤ Cabot Creamery (York, Pa.) has recalled over 1,700 pounds of its 8oz Extra Creamy Premium Butter, Sea Salted after tests found elevated coliform bacteria that may come from human and animal waste.
