- ➤ Police said on Friday that a taxi crashed along Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township near the intersection of U.S. Route 22 and Byron Avenue—killing two and hospitalizing one. PennLive

- ➤ Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding announced that the state has expanded its spotted lanternfly quarantine to four new counties (Bradford, Sullivan, Venango, and Wyoming) after confirmed sightings of the pest. He urged residents to scrape and squash egg masses (each one stopping 30 to 50 insects from hatching in May) to slow the insect's spread and help protect the local wine and grape industry. WGAL
