- ➤ The YWCA of Greater Harrisburg hosts its 37th annual Tribute to Women of Excellence event to honor local women making professional and philanthropic impacts across south central Pennsylvania. The celebration will highlight achievements and foster community connection. FOX43
- ➤ A Cumberland County nonprofit in Newville is nearly finished with repairs after a Dec. 20 fire damaged part of its renovated building, with community volunteers contributing to the cleanup. - ➤ Construction began on a new Chipotle Mexican Grill at Gettysburg Pike and South Market Street in Upper Allen Township in Cumberland County. The updated Chipotle Habanero concept features a modern layout with a drive-thru + dedicated pickup areas and is expected to create 30 to 50 jobs. WGAL

- ➤ After a three-hour meeting Tuesday, the School Board kept assistant superintendent Marisol Craig on for one more year after a tied vote ended plans to seek new candidates. The board is planning a reorganization that may later eliminate the position. PennLive

- ➤ Hunters in Pennsylvania recorded a record harvest of 505,600 white-tailed deer during the 2025-26 season, including 185,310 antlered and 320,290 antlerless deer, a 6% increase from last season. Officials said the online reports from wildlife units (such as WMU 2D) show the numbers help maintain herd balance. FOX43

- ➤ An inspection at a Dollar General on 881 Eisenhower Boulevard found suspected rat droppings near packaged snacks, canned foods and pet food this past Saturday, with five food safety violations noted by Pennsylvania's Bureau of Food Safety.
