CRIME NEWS

  • Andre Reddick went missing from Carlisle on March 21st when his grandmother last saw him and police described him as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 110 pounds with a dark mole between his eyes while wearing Spider-Man Crocs shoes (if anyone has information, please call 717-243-5252).  PennLive

CULTURE NEWS

  • Open Stage’s 'I'm Proud of You' runs through April 12 and shows a play about a deep friendship between journalist Tim Madigan and Fred Rogers. The performance invites the audience to think about personal bonds and feel genuine emotions — a story meant to move viewers to reflect on their own lives.  TheBurg

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that bridge beams will be set today and Tuesday night on the new 29th Street Bridge over I-83 and Norfolk Southern tracks in Swatara Township — Derry Street may see brief stoppages during this work. Additional beam placements are scheduled on Thursday through Monday nights as part of the East Shore Section 3 contract for the I-83 Capital Beltway Project.  PennLive
  • PennDOT is offering an online display of project plans for the Derry Street Bridge rehabilitation, with hard copy plans available at municipal buildings (Swatara Township and Paxtang Borough) until April 22. The project will replace beams, the deck, and parts of the bridge while causing up to four weekend closures, and work is set for 2027 and 2028.  PennLive

  • The FDA warned Target shoppers that Del Monte Foods recalled nearly 200,000 cans of Good & Gather Cut Green Beans sold last month due to a possible foreign object. Consumers were advised not to eat the recalled product & to return or dispose of it if found.  WGAL
