- ➤ The Foundation for Enhancing Communities received nearly 18,000 contributions totaling over $14 million in 2025 and awarded more than 900 scholarships to local students. - ➤ The Harrisburg School Board voted Tuesday night to demolish the century-old William Penn building because its severe deterioration and high upkeep costs made it unsafe. The 27-acre site will be repurposed for the district's educational needs—possibly including athletic fields. TheBurg

- ➤ Pennmark Management Company held a meeting on Wednesday to present a redevelopment plan for the Polyclinic Hospital campus that will add 230 apartments, retail, and parking to meet zoning relief requirements.
