ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Early Sunday, a fire in South Allison Hill left 13 residents without homes and damaged properties on Hummel Street (neighbors quickly offered help) as investigators looked into the cause. WGAL
- ➤ On Feb. 22, a row home fire in the 400 block of Hummel Street displaced 13 people and led Red Cross volunteers to help 18 residents, including families with young children, find shelter and relief supplies. PennLive
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Thousands remain without power after a winter storm hit south-central Pennsylvania yesterday — counties like Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster and York saw heavy snow and outages, while officials said strong winds brought down trees in areas near Philadelphia. WGAL
- ➤ The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for an ice jam on Swatara Creek above Middletown. The warning remains in effect until further notice — river levels may impact low-lying areas near the Vine Street Bridge. WGAL
