ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A fire on South 14th Street in Harrisburg damaged two rowhomes, one being used illegally for boarding, making the firefighting efforts more challenging; no injuries were reported, and the Red Cross is assisting 25 displaced individuals.  WGAL
  • A fire in Harrisburg displaced 10 people after destroying two rowhomes, one being used illegally with no smoke detectors, but resulted in no injuries.  Local 21 News

CRIME NEWS

  • Rickey Williams, a former Dauphin County security guard, was sentenced to 7 to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing a child in the 1990s and soliciting pornographic videos from a teenager in 2021.  PennLive
  • One person was hospitalized following a shooting stemming from an attempted robbery in Harrisburg, according to police.  Local 21 News
