The Concert Committee is planning an exciting organ recital in the church sanctuary on Friday, November 13 at 7 pm. The organist will be Abbie Wood, a Graduate student of Organ Performance at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. She is also employed as an Organ Scholar for Church of the Redeemer in Baltimore, MD. She recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University, obtaining a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance studying with Dr. Anne Laver, as well as a minor in Jazz Studies.

In addition to performing recitals in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Georgia, and South Carolina, Abbie has collaborated with brass ensembles, choirs, and most recently the National Orchestra Institute in Washington, D.C. Abbie is from York, PA, and is a 2021 graduate from Eastern York High School. Abbie is a former violin student of Mrs. Venona Detrick, member of our congregation.
