Library Tales for Tails

About this event

Join us and our furry friends for Library Tales for Tails! This program is for elementary school age children who are reading alone and wish to practice reading aloud. Dogs provide an uncritical audience, boosting a child’s reading confidence. A great opportunity for the reluctant or struggling reader! Stop by with a favorite book (or grab one off the shelf) and read to one of our therapy dogs! Call or stop by the library to register for a 20 minute session with one (or more!) of our certified reading therapy dogs! Walk-ins are welcome! Accessibility The library makes every effort to ensure our programs can be enjoyed by all. If you have any concerns about accessibility or need to request specific accommodations, please contact the library.
