- ➤ Community members from Hummelstown, Camp Hill, and across central PA gathered Sunday along Swatara Creek for the 2025 Recovery Float to honor Camp Hill native Mekenna Reiley, who was found dead in August 2023 in Oregon and remains under investigation+ the event supported those facing personal battles. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Fire crews responded to a house fire in Dover Township after flames fully engulfed a home on the 3000 block of Winter Drive around 6:30 p.m. Sunday—no injuries were reported and Winter Drive was closed. WGAL
- ➤ On Saturday at around 9 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police confirmed a three-vehicle crash on I-81 North in Susquehanna Township killed motorcyclist Noah Joseph Dentry of Red Lion—police said the vehicles were a Chevrolet Avalanche, a Toyota Tacoma and a Yamaha YZF690 motorcycle—and he was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center. - ➤ Developers will present sketch plans today to the Middlesex Township Planning Commission for Project Bolt—a hyperscale $15B data center to be built on 700 acres off Country Club Road. The project could become Cumberland County’s largest economic development venture. PennLive

- ➤ On August 4, the U.S. Justice Department asked Pennsylvania for its complete voter rolls, including social security and driver’s license numbers, sparking concerns that the request exceeds federal authority. Pennsylvania has 14 days to respond to the letter while experts warn that releasing this sensitive information may be illegal — state officials have yet to comment further. PennLive

- ➤ Alison Mattis, a horse trainer from Halifax in Dauphin County, has been working with rescue horse Arlington — who once trembled from abuse — and will depart on August 20 for the Appalachian Trainer Face Off in West Virginia.
