CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Omar Marlow, 24, was found unresponsive in his cell at SCI Camp Hill over the weekend, and staff tried to revive him before he was pronounced dead just before 9:30 a.m.—he had been serving a sentence for robbery with serious bodily injury—and state police are investigating the case. WGAL
- ➤ Edward Mitchell, 55, and Lester Eiland, 54, were freed after a 25-year fight for their release from jail following new evidence in the 2000 murder conviction of taxicab driver Angel DeJesus as Dauphin County Judge Andrew Dowling granted their request. PennLive
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Pa. State Museum closed its Native American exhibit in early May to review sacred artifacts and human remains for repatriation under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. Officials said they will work with Native communities to decide the collection's future — and the exhibit will not reopen before renovations begin in August 2026. PennLive
