- ➤ Heartwood Nursery hosts the annual Serviceberry Festival (a local favorite event) where visitors can tour the grove, sample berries with cake and serviceberry wine, and enjoy live music with local bands (Still Limber and Brian Pepo). - ➤ Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding announced that Pennsylvania invested $224K in grants to boost wine exports — supporting local producers like Waltz Vineyards — and promote farm tourism. - ➤ The state House voted Wednesday to lift the centuries-old ban on Sunday hunting—Rep. Steele’s bill allows the Game Commission to select Sundays for hunting, add an agricultural representative, and strengthen trespassing penalties.
