Meet the Cheesemaker: Holiday Open House

Every cheese has a maker. Come meet yours. 🧀

Join us during Downtown Carlisle’s Holiday Open House for a chance to meet Pennsylvania cheesemakers, enjoy a complimentary sample, and hear the stories behind your next favorite wedge.

Our visiting makers will have tasting tables throughout the shop. Explore at your own pace, ask what makes each cheese special, and get pairing and serving ideas straight from the people who make it. No cheese knowledge required—“What should I try first?” is a perfectly good place to start.

Looking for something to serve at Thanksgiving or give to a cheese-loving friend? Taste before you choose, discover what you enjoy, and shop for favorites with a story you can share.

One of my favorite parts of running Central Wedge is spending time with our cheesemakers. I want you to have that connection, too: to recognize the person behind the cheese and understand the care that goes into it.

A sweet stop, too: We’re joining the downtown cookie contest with ricotta sugar cookies made using Caputo Brothers Creamery ricotta. Collect cookies from participating businesses, then cast your vote!

Participating cheesemakers will be announced as they’re confirmed.
