About this event
Join us at Brownstone Station Wellness Center in Hummelstown, PA for a 5-class series of family yoga.
Class dates: 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, (skip 11/21), 11/28, (skip 12/5), and 12/12.
Class time: 10AM - 10:40AM (Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled).
Items needed for class: yoga mats optional if you have them and bottle of water. Comfy clothes appropriate for doing yoga poses (such as pants under skirts or dresses).
Designed for families with children ages 2-7, these family yoga classes are a fun way to bring the family together for non-competitive movement-based activity. We’ll have seasonal themes that are playful and yet that will still remind us of the true meaning of the season.
The intention of the class is to connect, move and have fun with each other away from screens.
Family yoga classes are similar to kids yoga classes but with more partner poses and activities with adults integrated into the lesson.
Kids under two are free and do not need to be included in the package. Kids older than 7 are allowed with the understanding that the classes are designed to engage the younger kids. At least one adult must be present with each family.
Classes are sold as a whole series package or as individual, drop-in classes. There are multiple offerings on the “Register” page in an attempt to meet the needs of each unique family. Please contact us if you have any questions, if you are unsure about which selection is right for you, or if you need a different option.
The definition of “family” can include extended relatives and close family friends.
Waivers will be emailed to be completed electronically and emailed or printed and returned in time for class. Paper copies will be available before class, if needed.

Meet Michelle, a mama and deeply feeling human who formerly worked as a nurse practitioner and who has ventured into kids yoga as a new path after navigating many life changes.
Michelle is a lifelong student with a passion for yoga, dance, and music and who is on a quest to discover the best balance between activities, rest and reflection. She has been practicing yoga over the past two decades and benefited greatly from taking yoga classes with her son from Next Generation Yoga by Cindy Lesher. Her son is also one of her greatest teachers.
Michelle enjoys finding creative ways to engage our kids, including the active, wiggly, inquisitive and imaginative ones, and to ease the burden on kids and parents. She believes in healing and regulating our nervous systems so we can connect with joy and vitality.
Michelle is certified by Seattle Kids Yoga to teach children ages 2-12 years.
